Great win for Under 14s

Under 14s give a strong show against Mill Hill

Mill Hill U14s 5 – 3 Langho Juniors U14s.

After initially taking the lead through Zak Robinson, Langho fell 5-1 behind mid way through the second half. However a strong fightback in the last quarter, with two goals capping a fine debut from Ben Shackleton, pushed Mill Hill all the way and, with further chances spurned, Langho may have got something out of the game to reward their efforts.

Under 14s – what a side!!

Langho Juniors U14s 4 – 1 Rossendale Utd Boys U14s

A fantastic performance from Langho saw them take the game to Rossendale right from the start. Early chances were not taken and keeper, Peter Richardson made 2 super saves before Langho took the lead. The opening goal from Callum Everrett was followed shortly by a superb header from Giles Farnell. Langho’s dominance continued after the break with a terrific 30 yard shot from Joel Phelps. The visitors pulled one back but Langho pushed on and, after hitting the bar twice, finally got the forth from referree’s man of the match, Zak Robinson. An all round great team effort.

Langho U14s

Great Harwood U14s 0 – 3 Langho Juniors U14s

These two teams did their best to try and play football in the teeth of a howling gale. Conditions were such that the referree’s final whistle got the best cheer of the day. An own goal in the first half was followed by one each for Danny Mort and Harry Sutton in the second to take the spoils and put Langho in the second round of the Cup. Tom Riley took the referree’s man of the match award.

langho Juniors U 14s

Darwen U 14s 1 – 6 Langho Juniors U14s

A superb team effort from Langho saw them produce a stunning win against a Darwen team unbeaten in over 12 months. The locals adapted well to a new formation and their energy and pace was too much for the home side. Goals from Harry Sutton; Sam Girvan and two each for Callum Everrett and referree’s man of the match, Giles Farnell did the damage.
